Well this IS Wisconsin but I'm really sick of the snow. Here we are in a suburb of Milwaukee and we are getting TONS of snow. I think at last check it was 7.5 inches of snow with more to come. My kids are off of school (again) and they are loving it. This is the 3rd snow day for my kids and I'm not sure what all these days off mean for the end of the school year as far as making the time up, but I'm glad that they didn't go to school today. All the malls are closed so everything is just about shut down. Unfortunately, my husband had to go to work today but hopefully he will be home early. Thought I would share some pretty pictures of what it is like outside my front porch.

Oh, it looks so pretty! We never get snow like that in Oklahoma anymore and haven't for MANY years! :(

According to the news you all have gotten much more snow than we all have down here near Chicago. But, they've closed down Woodfield Mall (which I'm not sure has ever happened) so I can appreciate your frustration. You have to admit that it is beautiful and looks so peaceful.

Kelly such beautiful pictures! I am still loving our snow! LOL! I'm on the other side of the lake from you and we are getting the snow too. I think we are at about 7" now. Been blowing so we'll see what happens in the morning with school. Glad you are enjoying the time with your kids! I always do too!

Hi Kelly, I came here through our LHN group. Beautiful snow! We've not had very much in Philly this year. I just wanted to let you know that my husband has applied to go to graduate school in Milwaukee next fall (Marquette Univ.). He has applied to 10 schools and we won't know anything for a few months yet, but IF we HAPPEN to get in there, I may be emailing you because I don't know ANYONE in Milwaukee!! Enjoy your snow days and get lots of stitching done.
